Drafter I (55 views)

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing non-routine drafting assignments of high complexity from rough or general drawings, sketches, or layouts. This includes drawing irregular shapes, multiple functions, and precise positional relationships between components. Work is performed independently after initial assignment with advice provided by supervisor or engineering/designer personnel.  This position requires coordination of own work details with other groups or sections within the office. The successful candidate may be required to give technical advice to less experienced drafters. Other responsibilities include filing drawings and maintaining catalogs of engineering data in both paper and electronic format. 

Minimum Requirements:  2 years of training at a technical school or equivalent experience; proven AutoCad and/or MicroStation skills, 3D skills a plus; strong PC/IT skills (i.e., Word, Excel, etc.); good written and oral communication skills.  Successful applicant must meet ECI’s auto insurance carrier requirements. Successful applicant may be subject to client mandated drug and background checking. Successful applicant must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
